The Education Opportunities Directorate of the WURA Hope Initiative is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for children of widows, ensuring that they have access to quality education. Its modus operandi and core responsibilities include:

Scholarship Programs

Implementing scholarship programs to support the education of children from widowed families, covering school fees, books, uniforms, and other educational expenses to alleviate financial burdens on widowed mothers.

School Infrastructure Support

Partnering with schools to improve infrastructure and facilities, such as classrooms, libraries, and laboratories, to create conducive learning environments for children from widowed families.

Educational Support Services

Offering educational support services, such as tutoring, mentoring, and counseling, to help children excel academically and overcome any challenges they may face in their educational journey.

Vocational Training

Parental Education
